You liked Mexico?

I was in Mexico and I enjoyed it a lot. Obviously, since I love the sun! The cold countries very little for me! Furthermore, the people are very cool. Like us they are very "family", and they have a certain joy of living. Up to 2PM or 3PM not much is going on, and after it's party time, like in Spain.

Do the Mexicans know Corse? What do they say to you about it?

The Mexicans know Napoléon. They know that Corse is an island, which enjoys protection, and that there are few inhabitants unlike in Mexico.

Are there things that reminded you of Corse in Mexico?

Certain landscapes, the greenery, certain little streets, the sun obviously, and the familial spirit that there is over there like here amongst us. The Mexicans like the Corsicans like to cultivate hopitality.

Would you be ready to leave everything to be in sync with the Mexicans [or something like that – would she be willing to leave everything and put everything into Mexico? (I think)]

Not at all! Stay there two or three months ok, but not more ! I already had great difficulty leaving Corse.

Quels sont les médias corses que vous privilégiez à Paris, en Corse ?
-
Which are the Corsican media you prefer [note: not sure about translation] to Paris in Corsica?

I read Corse-Matin [matin = morning] in the internet, but the best method to stay informed is still the family. On the other hand, when I'm in Ajaccio, I buy the newspaper every day.

You return often to Corse?

I return at least once a month. I have a little girl of three years and I want her to know Corse and her family.

How do you live your Corsitude in Paris?

Corse, I speak of it in my songs, in interviews. It is something very present in my home. I have of course Corsican friends in Paris. But, that which annoys me a bit is the people who shout from the roof tops that they are Corsican, who do it a ton, who add again to that, and who ultimately don't have much in resemblance with the island...Otherwise, as I am a great gourmande, I like to go to Così. It's a Corsican restaurant in the 5th arrondissement [section of Paris]. It was not very far from my old record company, which was quite convenient. I have kept the habit. It's a very nice place and the waitress is a friend.

When [will be] a sold out concert in Corse?

Preparation of the tour is in progress with my team, and a date in Corse, that tempts me much... The best, that would still be a concert in Ajaccio !
